i have been out all day doing a certain game; not because i really wanted to, more that i felt a duty to milk it because i could. cf climbing mountains because they are there.
i am now £71 richer nett but it was so lacking in edification that i ended up playing for nines. it is not a challenge and i'm bored.
tax-free money might be a living but it is not a life. imo.

Well, about as dull as free money can be.
The game's quite addictive (bear in mind I find most things addictive) but doesn't offer much variety. What there is of an endgame is pretty straightfoward.
Still: far, far better than the first rendering of the board game.
Am yet to see the itbox incarnation of the Word Cube, somewhat disappointingly.
of course the bottom line is the money you make from swps, however the bulk of the awp players I have come across in my travels by their own admission are sadly lacking in education, swp players are generally not. Most would not get enjoyment from playing awps what do they teach you, where is the intellectual challenge? Playing an swp even the same one gives you a different challenge every day(differing questions),surely for example all cleudo awp's behave in the same way if the input/output level is broadly the same until they get rechipped. Are awp players self taught or are there a few people who sell the information on how to win?
in other news, my occasional (real) pseudonym is disallowed on the scrabble scoreboard. it has exactly zero potential to offend unless ~RIM~ is deemed offensive by some namby-pamby klutz.
it is the word for the fella who made horses's spurs and it is allowed in the wordlist (mind you anything is allowed on that wordlist so long as it doesn't exceed nine letters).
it seems peculiar as i'm only 3rd division at scrabble so hardly a pretender to BESI's throne.
It is mundane for sure. The general intelligence level of AWP players is pretty low a lot of the time, and a fair few can be seen dragging their knuckles along the ground and going out with a club to kill dinner. I like to mix both AWP/SWP playing, and i can tell everyone on here is reasonably bright as i don't have to double read posts for bad spelling, grammar and punctuation!
"Sixty percent of the time, it works, every time!"
anybody on this part of the wesite is a learned friend (even those I joust with) with the exception of the person quizmaster had a go at a few weeks ago ......... cant remember his name but he has gone back into further obscurity. I think its good to be able to mix both particularly when things are lean on the swp front. I wish I was good at the word /card games but alas I am not!
My general knowledge is defintely poor compared with many on this section of the forum. I do like the odd punt on the SWPs, but purely for entertainment. Do any SWPers like the odd punt on AWPs?
