Having the same experience with blank screen gamesnets. The problem is just going to build on itself as the more people complaining they've lost their money/machine broken will surely result in managers deciding the machine's just not worth the hassle. I stuck a five pound note into an itbox that wasn't taking coins - it chewed it up and didn't give it back. I went on and on to the barmaid but she kept saying she couldn't do anything about it. The excuse of 'we can't give you the money back' is running really thin. It's on their property (in this case without a sign saying Out Of Order) - how can they not be liable?

On a lighter note, following on from Suggs here's another dreadful joke:

Pair of glasses walks into a bar. Barman refuses to serve them.
Pair of Glasses: "Why won't you serve us?"
Barman: "Because you're off your face."

Ahem...

On an ItBox the other week I put in three one-pound coins in quick succession. The machine went black, then started blaring out a siren with 'Security Alert' flashing on its screen. 45 seconds later it stopped to reveal I had £1 credit. Had to smile at being accused of cheating by a machine that was busily stealing two quid off me.

Another problem that I am finding increasingly common is Paragons that are switched on but won't accept any money. Bizarrely this often happens after you have actually been able to deposit a couple of quid and play those games and are attempting to put another quid or two in. It has nothing to do with the coin reject button sticking but often seems to happen when the note acceptor is already out of order. Is anyone else seeing more of this or should I just be feeling paranoid right now?
