Today's gem of a lifeline:
"I'm not too sure but it could be D. I'm 20% sure".
Wow, considering you've got a 1 in 4 (25%) chance of getting it right if you have a total stab in the dark, you've only served to hinder me my pretend chef friend.

There's something very odd, by the way, about this thread - in the first hour since its creation it has allegedly been viewed circa 350 times without anyone replying (until now). This is as many views as recorded by threads that last a week or more with 10+ replies. A case for Mulder and Scully perhaps or maybe there is something up with the site...

Well noticed - it's increasing at the rate of 2 or 3 a second. I suspect it could be the auto-bots used by the likes of Google to trawl the web for pages. I've been told before that the "most users online at once" records for most forums occur when a crowd of auto-bots descend upon the side and all start trawling pages. But all that said, this forum is password-protected isn't it, so I'm not sure what's going on.Nil Satis wrote:They can indeed be a waste of time.
