aye although the unit I played yesterday didnt have Blockbusters- is that any good?

I had my first go of puzzler and although it wiled away the time almost entertainingly, to get amongst the cash was impossible. Could only have done it with 4 rounds of the chainletter one which is the only one I consistently scored over 400 on.

Just read the statement on the INGG website. I know as little about this as the next man but it doesn't reflect very well on their business acumen that a business running AWPs and SWPs is losing money does it?

Let's wait and see whether they manage to flog the business, but even if they do one might expect a purchaser to be more interested in the sites (i.e. filling those sites with its own machines) rather than the technology - so it could be goodbye ItBox. Every player has their own preference for machines, and I've always quite liked the ItBox. I'll miss it if it goes but I guess we will all adapt and survive.

[quote="dmac"]I think the Itbox has been updated in the last few days]

What are people's experiences of Jiggy Bank thus far? I think they've installed it in "non-paying mode", which is a pity, although I think it's a strong enough game to be able to take in the cash and start being a bit more generous. That said, the focus on really lowbrow pop culture means I'm less strong on it than I should be...

Oh yeah, the other thing that's gone is Tetris, I reckon. Played it a lot pre-54 but turned to better things after that. I haven't so far seen Blockbusters on any ItBox.

Love Jiggy Bank. No such thing as non payout mode. Only small payout mode and big payout mode.

In the unlikely event that anyone is mourning the loss of Tetris (the quiz version), it might be worth checking the 'Manager's Choice' button on your local ItBox - it was lurking under there on the one I saw yesterday.

Thats a really good question, i would love to know what there plans are coz at the moment thats the only quiz machine i cant dislodge from sites with a new paragon, the gamesnet it so crap ppl cant wait to get rid off but the ITbox does do well for LL.

I guess they could licence it out to a big company like crown/sceptre or gamestec for the right kinda cash, but still the paragon is still the most loved machine in the gaming sector atm.

Some landlords are gunna be pissed though, LL give free broadband access with the ITbox. cant see gamestec following on this idea as there losing money hand over fist too atm
