Open the box - new program ?

Post by fmlad2002 »

i've got one open the box recently turned up. A mate stuck 20 quid in and got about 3boards in total - all boards gave him 2-3 nudges with zero win.

I stuck in 7 quid - no board.

Day 2, stuck in a tenner - No board. Decided to watch - for a couple of hours, a few punters played - loads of credit going in max boards getting 1-2 quid...

Must be a rip somehwere - never seen one play as bad as this despite the crap program

I beg your pardon? I know a hole's a hole, but you have to draw the line somewhere.

I know it's called Open the Box, but that's ridiculous!
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

Is it just me who likes this machine?

I frist played it NY eve in local i never go in, got about £30 profit. It turned up in our town centre Scream pub about 3 months ago and i did really well off it till about 3 weeks ago when it got changed for a DOND big reds, the exact machine it got replaced for!

Another town centre pub got it last week, in the twice i played it in there i came of about £40 up. Not great amounts i know, but hey a profits a profit!

Terrible terrible machine! Even when you try and steal and rip some wins you end up putting in 10+ for aboard. The frustration of getting a number on super spins for it to go up to one nudge and then gamble down to lose or to get a bonus for stopper or boost which never goes up there is unbelieveable. Ive stopped playing these completely!

CADD was hardly amazing. It was probably the last old-skool style profile barcrest that ever came out though.

OTB is pretty dire, I agree with most of the above. Losing on 2s and 12s was so tedious!

There's still two CADDs (+6%) nearby which I often find ready. I wouldn't say they were amazing, but they're enjoyable to play, and often come away with a profit. It is of course, a full on force with these. Nice when you 'trap' it into giving you the three red eggs. And even nicer when you get a £90 ms! Rare, though now, those Grapes of Death on reel 1, grr!! ;)
