500jps observation
if you play 500jpts regually ,would any one agree that if it drops ,it drops sooner rather than later ? i.e within the space of your first 20 quid , elvis being the most prevalent example, only twice have i been stuck well into this machine and then got it. many times i have had and seen jpts straight away, on 4 occasions rolled in 1st go , but rarely after a wedge goes in.

i knew this one would be brought up ,just how will a random machine be able to keep to its aiming percentage if truely random? the percentage must be compensated in some way to keep within range, thus there being certain points in a cycle where it will drop just to keep it right . these quick jpts being thrown in first thing after power on or when its been left to sit for a while and are too frequent to be random me thinks.
*sigh*, i realy can't be assed to explain this...
if i were to role a 'normal' die and let you bet on it that would be random, yes? (assuming i didn't cheat of course
)
right, what if i were to give you this bet but only pay you 5/1 if you win. Still a random gamble but it only 'pays' 83.33333rec%.
that is essentially the basic premis of your B3 cat machine.
as has been said too many times before (by me and others):

These machines gameplay offer lots and regular 50p-£1+£1.50 wins to keep you going.
anyone interested in the more technical/geeky side of these work, feel free to pm

BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!
errr, I was going to say something sensible, but that has already been said by Young Kai. Re-read and re-digest, 'eeees right you know. Or failing that....HEY YOU! Don'T READ DAT......READ DISSS.....BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
ONE BOOOOOOM BEYOND!!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
Truly random games will have target percentages. Roulette has a target percentage.
AS to wether cat B3s are truly random or not? Maybe not, maybe so, but either way, they can still have a target percentage and THAT in itself should not arouse suspicion as to randonimity. BLOOOP!. I promised less bloops and that's three (as there is one coming up) BLOOPS in a week. So that's pretty good,. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
bloom. BLOOOOOOOMP!
Sensible zone: George's sensible tip: Don't play B3s for anything other than 'buying entertainment'. I occassionally buy £1 of entertainment now and again. Ask yourself, can this machine provide enough entertainment to make me feel fulfilled paying £100 for that pleasure?
I feel bitter when it rolls in the compulsory first row of ELVISs, the two gold discs and naff all else. Real bitter. It makes me REALLY ANGRY. I expect at least , well, jackpot, to be quite honest with you. It once gave me four guitars for £35 or something modest. Better than a smack around the face with a kipper, but I WANT JACKPOT.
I WANT JACKPOT.

ARHGAHRGAHRGAHRGHAGRHAGRHAGRHAGRHAGRHAGRHAGRHAGRHGAHRGAHRGRAHGRHAGRHAGRHAGRHAGHARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEY DONT HAVE TO KEEP TO THE SODDING TARGET PERCENTAGE ON A RANDOM GAME - THE PERCENTAGE IS SITED AS A BLOODY AVERAGE, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE HELL ITS DONE IN THE PAST, IT DOESN'T
TRY AND REACH A SPECIFIC PERCENTAGE......
GOD HOW HARD CAN IT BE FOR YOU PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF I OFFER YOU A HEADS OR TAILS GAMBLE FOR £100 A GO, I CAN ADVERTISE A 100% PAYOUT, THATS A "TARGET" OF 100%. IF YOU LOSE 2 TIMES IN A ROW DOES THAT MEAN AFTER THAT THERE IS ANYMORE CHANCE OF YOU WINNING THAN BEFOREHAND... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! GOD RANDOM MACHINES ARE NOT FUCKING AWPS THAT KEEP TO PERCENTAGES LEARN PLEASE YOU IDIOTS AND NEVER SPOUT THIS SHITE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The thing about these s16's is normal fruit machine players tend to think that 500's operate in a similar way BUT you are SO wrong!!!! Looking for patterns etc. of payouts is human nature and is bound to happen in any random game, hence why roulette rakes in so much money - people think they are onto something when they see patterns etc: these are just RANDOM!!!!
YOU HAVE TO FACE IT - AWP MACHINES ARE NOT RANDOM, 500's ARE...

i understand all above comments and am not in anyway green concerning randomimity , if you look at the lottery for example hot and cold numbers still exist in a truely random manner, with no sign of averaging out , if this is applied to s16 ,b3 with hot numbers meaning large wins and cold ones nowt then the average will be flawed me thinks . further more i know of agcs that have reset s16s if they have run over 100 percent for a while ,thus adding a non random element and destroying the chance of a true average, same goes with an elvis i saw once having a refloat and book keep it had a short term pecentage of just 36 for over 4k in games ,this was also reset to avoid a close sequence of large wins . so i do think in certain places and under certain conditions these machines have been manipulated to make the operater more money........and not just randomly.
Look this is precisely the point by reseting it, it MAKES NO DIFFERENCE TO WHEHTHER A CLOSE SEQUENCE OF LARGE WINS COMES OUT. The machine is NOT trying to reach the percentage, its just an AVERAGE!!!! Whether it actually reaches the average or is over or under it is purely down to chance, although statistically random games usually run to near the average percentage in the long run; this however does not mean there is any compensating by the machine to get there.mr lugsy wrote: same goes with an elvis i saw once having a refloat and book keep it had a short term pecentage of just 36 for over 4k in games ,this was also reset to avoid a close sequence of large wins.
basically the sum of all the wins that the machine can give will total a
%age of the amount of money needed to obtain them. this fact, however is irrelevent to the machine as it is not influenced by any previous 'numbers' drawn (each win is assignted a code or 'number' as you can see for yourself by keying one). these numbers are not used only once though, so the same number (for example the number that corresponds to £500
) could be 'drawn' 3 times on trot. THIS WOULD NOT IN ANY WAY AQUATE TO THE PERCENTAGE THAT THE MCHINE 'WANTS' TO PAY, AS THE MACHINE DOES NOT PAY TO A PERCENTAGE. the machine will just keep drawing numbers and eventually due to laws of average the %age wil level out.
Right im banning myself from this topic as its giving me a headache trying to think of different ways to explain it.
