it will pay for my pint. it is my cup of tea
That made me chuckle, for some reason...
i'd say that money spent on design is better spent than money on the licence for the latest flash-in-the-pan.
I generally agree too, licenced games 'tend' to be rushed out with corners cut etc. Look at the re-release (multi-quiz) version of Bullseye, they've got the Tony Green and Jimmy samples in there, but the overal design is pretty poor (although as I mentioned elsewhere, the 'Jerky' version, pays off!)
"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."

if you win JP off her subject she lets you grope her behind the bike sheds.

orwight treacle? show us ya growler.

it would have been right up my street if they'd had a modern languages teacher in that school.
nobody ever wins on those things.

Having played this at three or four locations over the last few days, my initial view is the same as yours. Nice graphics and gameplay but it doesn't look to have much potential for long-term earnings.

Even if the bank builds over time to enable a JP to be won (which I doubt, given the ease with which it pays out £1 or £2), I imagine it would be of the random DOND variety (i.e. could pay out to anyone at the right time) rather than of the e.g. TIOLI variety (i.e. will pay out to the first decent player to stroll by).

I think it re-uses the FFQ question bank, but I doubt even INCA would bother with this one given the gameplay.

[quote="&quot"]After many games and careful deliberation (!!) I have to agree with Istenem, this game is the most effective and playable that has emerged in a fair time.

What i meant was........... it is a well designed game with good potential for punters to get involved and therefore possibly lead to some cash for the boys.

My opinion has been seen to be correct as i have seen several itboxes being played this week and mostly they were playing "Back 2 Skool". Whether it will be any more accessible thann lots of other stuff surely remains to be seen

No, i haven't won more than 3 pounds yet!!

I made it to Friday on one game at the weekend and still only won £2 - the timetable simply gave me a list of the subjects I had already reached A in.

This game should be sent to Detention pronto...

Aye pretty much the same for me this afternoon although when Thursday threw out a solid day of the two subjects I had already achieved eminence in, I started to hit the screen randomly to crap out but hit the right answers and then played properly again and on Friday it did serve up another A to make the £3.
