I hadn't came across any mistakes on Caesar's Palace until last night.

Which of these is not a primary colour?

Red
Green
Black

Got it right with black, but my 1st year art teacher taught me green was a mix of yellow and blue.

I always have to think about primary colour ones where green andyellow are included because I always tend to think that for light purposes the 'primary colours' are red, green and blue a la a television set.

It may be that your physics teacher would have told you different to your art teacher although I suspect depends on definition of primary colourswhich I have not looked up so couldbe talking bollox.

I apologise, I 've been informed they are indeed red, green and blue.

Spent many a happy childhood moment eyes prese against the screen looking at the little red, green and blue lines.

Might have to do it tonight for old times sake.

Happy steak and bj day everybody.

In Physics, the "primary primaries" are red, green and blue. The "secondary primaries" are cyan (green + blue, the artist's "blue"), magenta (red + blue, the artist's "red") and yellow (red + green). That's why colour printers use a system called CMYK - it stands for "Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black" (black is K as blue is B).

As a further test, mix the physics primaries together, you get white, but mix the artist's primaries together, and you get black.

Still a bit of an unfair question through - you'd expect them to pick one of the colours there's no argument over, red or blue! ;)

One that made me chuckle today:

Where would you find an epilogue?

One of the answers: in a public convenience.

No doubt a plausible answer if someone had made a lengthy sit down visit

A few days ago, a machine asked me "How many cows were killed in drive-by shootings in such-and-such an American county in year x?"

Some disturbing images spring to mind.

Bovine bling?
Moopac Shakur?

Anyway, I failed to take the bull by the horns, and passed the question..

Random Irritations of the Day No. 1038:

"Odd One Out" questions imported into Take It Or Leave It from another question set without any thought as to whether or not they make sense. I lost an £18.50 prize last night on:

Which one of these names is the odd one out in an English pub?

A: The Famous Grouse

Gotta love Cops 'n' Robbers........

Who was the runner up in the 1922 Baseball world series?

In which event did Mr. R. *something* win a gold medal in the 1902 olympics?

and

How many words were there in Bill Clintons inaugral speech?
What makes this one worse is that the answer must already have been out there and that means some muppet actually sat down and counted the amount of words which begs the question.... WHY?!
