I had a £105 all at once on S&L the first time i played it, i was just wondering about the all red board because according to the supertips you have to physically collect a red feature when you land on it.

Ooh, that's interesting! Bit like the old Red-X machines, whereby if you had a red exchange and was on a bonus, collecting the feature would award Big Money... ;)

Matt Vinyl wrote:Funny you should say that, because the few times I have had a 'clean' £105 from a Red, it has always been when the board has looked 'inocuous'.

I still go back to that Player's Heaven website question - "If you see red, do you think you will win more?" Hundreds of people must have responded 'yes' to that, and have you not noticed that all new Reds since that time have had very different playing profiles? Foot - Shoot - Self. :(
That plays on my mind too. I seem to remember we mentioned this when SMTM was first launched - I definitely answered 'NO' to the survey question!

Red boards can't be trusted on S'n'L, they can't be 100% trusted on SMTM and they can't always be trusted on Vortex. Long live my local kebab shop with a £25 Crazy Cobra - in red we trust! :)
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

In my opinion showing reds on them is like this

SMTM must show 8+ red's on a win £3 or under with no lines for it to be there for a force

S+L i would say the same although this does not red up as much

Vortex i would say half red and they are fine
Never had any real problems with this if 'genuine' there

Of course any red can screw even when clearly ready
Especially SMTM and S+L which are terrible imo

Maybe it was an ARB1 board and he landed on the 'but 1', then died going for the next feature marker. :? :

Just a note that Red have pulled the SnL clone Treasure Hunt. Shame really, as I found this played a lot better than SnL... :(

That means nothing it can cost £10-£20 on mega spins for a board even when stupidly ready
Dead first gamble with all red features also means nothing,
as long as it was genuine red it was ready

Mattb wrote:Right,

I've officially had enough of these taking the piss now. I'm a bit more annoyed as i've a horrendous day and lost £140 ( nearly all through £130 down on a £35 campers that was 4/£3 to start....simply terrible, £200 into a £35 OAR that was up to a tenner first board. £160 back through £35/£70/£35/£35/£25 SnS). Anyway enough of that.

Also chased 2 SMTMs today. Now one was probably the most ready i've ever found, ever. In a busy little pub on the A428 near Bedford. Full, ARB2 with 1 nudge first quid, second board £15 win which goes to £25. £19 in for tops, flat. £10 nudge win after, gambles to £15 then stitches on an 8. Rechase costs £130 for a slightly staggered £35/£35/£70. Start milking when it throws in reds on a 2 which slow bonuses for a guaranteed 4th top of £35. Didn't try another board, but ended up losing £25 on it. Disgusting. The other was much less ready, in a spoons and cost £110 for £105 back from a £35/£70. I just hate them so much now, why they constantly have to take so much and throw in so many shit numbers baffles me.

As for snakez, the stupid losses and safes up the top just piss me right off too. Not played one today, but i've been £300 into one, £150+ into a few others etc.

Who else feels the same? :x
i have had enough of smtm! cant do with it gets me too stressed!!
sometimes great other times evil!

f**king showing!!!!

they are playing with hard earned knowledge.
i learnt through playing and losing untill i new what was there to win reducing my losses and increasing profits slowly.
anyone looked at the barcrest site questionnaire?
they are on it!!
anyone submitting it should lie through there teeth.

have a look.

All reds seem to be ok for the force when they are red. I mean you get your unlucky stories here and there and fruits like OAR, invincibles, GADD all seem to be better than these newer reds. However, if you get a SMTM all red in a few quid then you should be guaranteed profit.

I agree but seriously it was unreal.
nothing i expected happened, i was questioning my own knowledge and judgement, dont want to go into details but it just felt like i was playing a different m/c

Should being the word!!!

Just that on SMTM it does not always work out that way
Also £10 profit is common from these from being red
Although i have had some quite big profits from them £40-£70
