we all know it is a swiz but according to the rules screen, you are guaranteed JP if you get all the blocks of the pyramid.

am i a bit slow in realising this? are you gents taking £20s at will? or is it a diabolical ruse?

You are assuming that each pyramid contains seven keys, which is not right. The average pyramid at a virgin site seems to me to contain five keys, which equals £5 in the endgame (it does not seem to be worth gambling in the endgame as the game just gives you game over). On one occasion I have had six keys for £10. I've yet to see seven. In addition the skill games can be relatively challenging and even the questions can be difficult, so for me this is worth playing but not worth devoting any real time to.

Never had JP though. Few £10's and lots of £5's.

Dont give the end game the time of day. Just get enough keys to be bumped up and then take it.

interesting Grecian but imo there is no ambiguity in "find all seven keys hidden within the pyramid"

afaiac, the word "all" quantifies the keys to exactly seven.
it is a small point but they are naughty. yes, i'm the sort of person who makes proofreading marks on menus too.

in answer to the obvious question, what i was doing reading the rules pages? the coinslut was broken, notes weren't accepted and i'd done the crossword.

hang on here a second, played this a few times, one of the only quiz machines I've actually got the £20 on a few times, and every one of those times there has been the 7 keys in the pyramid, I've yet to see it not offer 7 keys when I've been down to the last few...

unfortunately what it does to screw you is either one of 2 things both of which are on the Skill games: a) gold coins where the sequence is 12+ coins, which is amazingly hard to remember b) a maths sum which multiplies to way over 10000...

Being that b) is solvable by both hint and calculator that is ok, but a) is pretty nasty, I have seen seqences over 20 coins long, perhaps video is in order, but my phone doesnt work quick enough to record and play back in time...

I wouldn't say I've played this loads OB but that certainly doesn't correspond with my own experience unless I'm missing something. I'm speaking of the version on ItBox 55 - are you playing the GamesNet version perhaps? I've also never seen over 9 on the sequence of coins - in any case I need to be playing in tandem as I struggle to remember a sequence of more than about 6.

When it's gagging you might get 7 in the Pyramid. You might get £20 on Deal or No Deal as well, or £10 on That's Entertainment.

Have done the whole pyramid now for the 5 or 6 keys, so agree there is some mileage in it. Ball achingly laborious to do this though. Not one for efficient money making.

Muppets seem to like it though, hence the free money around.

I quite like this one for a dabble. There seems to be 2 versions floating around though....

One has game over at the end (Itbox?), the has other life or death (gamesnet?) which is as good as game over anyway, as its virtually impossible to follow the play on square!

They must be quite ripe here, never seen a coin sequence go over 5 yet, or a maths question over a few thousand. My best effort is a fiver, but i reckon a few more goes could yield some nice rewards.

I played the GamesNet version on Sunday and found it far tighter than the ItBox one.

I twice got up into the Palace with 4 keys on the Itbox on Friday night without ever being seriously tested on either the questions or the Skill games, yet the GamesNet version was throwing obvious spoilers at me on the 2nd level up from the bottom. It could've just been on it's arse, however.

Won £3 and £4 from the Itbox CP.

I played this on the Itbox today. £3 in and no win. The questions were my downfall. I just don't know enough. Blast those stupid freakin' questions. CURSES!!!! BLAST!!!! AAAAARRRRRRRGGGH!!! How rude. It must know the answers as they are in its databanks. It's just being lazy getting me to try and answer 'em. It's the same on fruit machines who ask me to roll even to continue. No you fooker, you roll even. You're the one with the stepper motor, opto and decals. You stop it on even. You don't hear me asking you to cut my hair, trim my toenails or ejaculate my penis do you? So quit with the the blasted questions. However I qould quite enjoy procuring seven keys and winning twenty quid. I wouldn't mind counting a few swords, remembering a few sequences and telling you what 6*7 is on the way. I'm quite happy to do that - but no questions, I can't stand quizzes.

"I can't stand quizzes!" he bellowed. A deadly silence ensued in the SWP forum. He left quietly.
