it seems that the consencus on this is that it's ok? i haven't had a chance to play one of these yet, but if the buzz about them is accurate then (please god!!) red's may be trending for the better?

Yup, and they've called it 'X Marks The Spot'. Of all names!
Presumably it'll be as shite a feature as the machine of the same name.
I love the way the write-up on the Players Heaven website warns that some squares can actually decrease the safe cash value ... as though it's a bad thing!
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
Good news played a red on test called las vegas and it is a fruit steps and nudges plays like beach with features like beach which glow when ready. First impersion very good
There was a failed Red from about five years ago called Rock Star. It was a progressive board though, very unique for Red, not hi/lo (although optional) interesting as it was unique and nothing like a LAB.
I remember that Red rock star thing. had a realy obvious progression when i played it. piss poor though, cost a fortune, could have just been bad luck.
on a funny sidenote just read this thread, for what i thought was for the first time, then saw i'd already posted on it. Gotta stop drinking before i go on the 'puter.
