Myself being Scottish (and a bit Irish), there is a natural enmity towards the English football team. A lot of this boils down to every commentator's insistence on mentioning 1966 at every opportunity. Having said that, if Scotland ever did anything worthwhile on the international stage, I'm sure we'd be crowing about it too.
So, how do the non-English posters on this board want England to get on? Personally, I don't mind how far they get as long as they don't win it... we would NEVER get to hear the end of it. I'd also like to see Trinidad and Tobago beat them, just for the romance of it all.
Soz Fader but as good a team as you have I doubt your ability to get further than semis at best and as much as you'll hate it-Traditionally the host team does well.
