difficult but not unfair

Post by Istenem »

had nine pints on PMP at lunchtime and four darts left.
musical instrument for JP and it gave me -AI-O (no bonuses left)
thought it might be a typo of piano so N X. erm S? X bugger. V? X
so i crapped out and collected the £3. any ideas in case i get that one again?

getting my phone out is an ugly omen
i did a similar thing on C&R last time i got to MR. decided to take a phonecam video to upload to youtube and i only managed £3 :o ops:

No idea but http://www.onelook.com may help. I remain very impressed with your prowess on PMP UP.

That must be a typo, I'm pretty up on my musical instruments, and after searching my memory banks, drew a blank, so tried various crossword solver system jobbies on the net. 7 to be precise! Most returned CAIRO as the only word, others not even that.

Could it have been a deliberate un-gettable phrase to deny you the extra £7?

Good work though...!

STD has no problem offering a picture that only had 4 differences on when the JP is worryingly close, so i don't see why PMP wouldn't too.

call me an old fool but i trust this game to not give an unsolvable puzzle.
previous times i've JPed it they were obscure but not impossible.

in retrospect i should have been patient and gone for a safe category for 1/4 of the right hand pint (after i got the hobby) but had a slight rush of blood. i'm not cross just mildly peeved that i was flummoxed right at the last.

COuld it have been a bastardised version or alternative ending of the Galician bagpipe Gaita?

Either way you've been stitched.
