Why does ELW keep offering free money?

Post by rogerthymes »

Does it mean they are worried most people won't win even the small amounts? Usually after a round or two I find they're offering an easy card pick of £2, £1, Game over or Change Subject.
I must say its a lot better than the Tetris 'Mystery' choice which often can just close the game and you have no control over!

I suspect such 'free' wins will decline rapidly on any given machine once one or two larger prizes are achieved. I'd be interested to see whether anyone has detected any real interest in the game amongst ordinary punters - is it simply too wacky a concept to interest them?

A good question NS. Interestingly I JPed one today even though it was on a measly £5 JP setting. The funny thing was that the questions were really pretty easy. So does the £5 mode really indicate it's not willing to pay out? Not sure.
