Hi all
I have always loved fruit machines so decided to bite the bullet and buy one :-)
I bouugh the Viva Mexico by Bellfruit fruit machine 2nd hand and i love it, but i just have a couple of very basic questions (well they will be to you but not me lol)
First of all, i have set it to a £75 jackpot and 5p ago, and i have filled the machine with £80 in it, just to get me going so it will pay out no matter what. my question is, How do i reset the machine so it basically starts from now? ie so the first person who comes and puts £1 does not take all my cash straight away! i am not bothered about someone winning it in the future but would like to get a little run for my money lol. So is there a way to reset it so it builds up a bit before paying the jackpot?
Secondly, when the bloke came and showed me how it worked he did a VERY quick demonstration so i could not take it all in. What he said was that the hopper stores something like £400 (depending on what jackpot you have it set too) and then it falls into the back and down to the cash box below when its full. He showed me how to empty the cash box at the bottom but can you also empty the hopper?? Ie so when i finally get sick of it all i can take all my money out of it??
I am sure when i get to grips with it there will be loads of questions i will want to ask lol
Thanks for any help and sorry if its really basic!
Chris

Hi Mate... Hope you are enjoying your new machine.
Yes you can empty the £1 coin hopper. Firstly, open the lower service door, insert your refil key and turn. An audible sound will be heard. Then open the lower cash box door and you will see a switch, probably to the left of the left hand cash box. Hit this switch once and you should hear another audible sound. By this time, the cancel button should be flashing... Press this now and the machine should automatically dump it's £1 float.
There is another way to dump if this does not work which includes putting the machine into test mode. Try the above and if it does not work I will happily explain the second method...
Hope I have been of help.
Regards, Stu
