World watch out!

Post by Mattb »

Afternoon! 8)

Just passed my driving test with only 2 minor faults! :D 8)

One for edging into a cycle lane (picky :x) and one for going too wide on my reverse round a corner (fair enough). It went all too well really, absolutely aced it. Just a car to get now, and i'm away! :D

Haven't got a clue really!

Seeing as insurance for first time passed drivers in the first year is astronomical (£1000+ usually) it's going to have to be something small. Probably in the 1.0-1.2 litre range. Maybe something like a Clio/306/corsa etc. Not really looked into it yet, but i'll shop around.

makes sense insurance don't get that much cheeper neither costs me £1100 to insure my car. Seeing that I am 26 full No Claims etc I think it is quite steep but then again car aint in the cheap insurance bracket.

do your pass plus - knocks your insurance down. If your lucky enough, like me, you can just give your instructor £20 and he'll give you the certificate.

Yep, he did say to me that he'd fiddle it slightly as i've done a lot of the stuff you'd usually do in lessons.

We'll just have a nice long motorway drive and a bit of night driving and that'll be it. Happy days. 8)

Motorway driving is good. Relaxing.

Can also get some good pics! Just gotta be careful, you occasionally get a lorry change lane for no reason, and without warning ;)
