There was a word search on the other night - Find the Animal.

Now, there were obvious ones there, Tiger, Lion, rhino etc.

But they only want you to pick 6 animals even though there are about 30 animals on the wordsearch and the presenter clearly misleadsthe viewer by saying how easy it is to spot the animals when probably a fucking difficult one like "Dog in Latin (Canis)" will be hidden there. If you switch on the TV coming home from the pub, you don't know this, think you've spotted lets say "Tiger" thats been said probably 10 times that night thinking you've won. It must be a 10,000/1 shot to get THROUGH to win nothing when you think you have won because "Tiger" is clearly there on the wordsearch. Conning Bastards.

This video basically sums up all the reasons not to phone in.

However the following 2 have to be commended for their services to sensible viewers everywhere. (even though they're blantantly wasting their money - still funny).

What about "Big Beaver" as well?

For those of you with an ear for voices, there might actually be something worth listening to for once on one of these shows - Cash Call, which is on between 12.00am and 2.00am on the commercial radio stations, has been running a Guess the Voices competition for a few weeks now where two of the voices are known (Beyoncé and Rachel Stevens). The third is a youngish American male, who you would presume is an actor or something like that. The prize is now up to £10,000. Clearly you face the usual hurdle of getting through but it might be worth a listen in case you think - "I recognise that voice!".

Re: the Quiz call solution Videos

V funny but...

Its still going on unchanged though isnt it- I think there was a late night one on FTN the other night and again it was 'Car Makes' - three normal answers had come up, and then I saw someone had got 'Jensen Motors' (!) .

ftn friday

Post by ROSSKEEN »

I got home from the pub about 1 on Friday night and sat through half an hour of the FTN quiz call type game. "Music artists beginning with S" was the question.

In fairness the answers werent TOO bad (skee-lo, shabba ranks among others) but my favourite was......Sean McGuire. The guy who was in Eastenders yonks ago who released one song I believe, which bombed.

And why was I watching? Because I flicked on accidently and the first caller I saw was Archie who when asked for his answer simply screamed "KNOBHEAD" down the phone whilst his pals laughed in the background.

The presenter said "thats the fourth time tonight" and I was hoping to view numbers 5 and 6.

If you fancy a laugh, do a search on YouTube for "Ghostbusters" and "iain lee"

This guy has spent a small fortune phoning these shows and giving the answer "Ghostbusters 2", regardless of the question. Some presenters take it well, others get mighty pissed off.

It's hilarious anyway...

Listen mate, what channel are you watching, what is on your screen right now?

Right now there's a guy who looks like my newsagent wearing pyjamas.

Brilliant.

reminds me of the census a few years ago when I being contemptuous of all religions , was asked by a guy from my local Dominoes Pizza to put jedi knight in the religion box . Apparently it ended up as the third most popular religion in Britain.
