Spent the day today putting this together - just to try and get my head around a new programming language I recently purchased (BlitzMAX - It's bloody powerful!).
I put this together to try a few of the functions I need for 'Better Letters', but I've still not implemented the dictionary checking yet (so all words are valid lol!)

Ooh, one point that might also upset a few Wordsmiths - I only have SOWPODS dictionary ability at the moment - but if anyone would like to point me in the direction of something more, shall we say, 'sensible' dictionary (in .txt / .dat or even .xls format) I'd be very grateful!
