And if's also the one I saw, I'm very happy with the new Pub Quiz-esque game. Prize structure is the same, as is (almost) the bonus round.
Whereas with Pub Quiz you might get an 'add cheat' or 'add pass' in the bonus round, with this game you get to choose three 'people' who are specialists in a particular subject at the start of the game, thus ensuring you get at least 3 questions right which you're stuck on (you pick the people who specialise in your weaker subjects, obviously). Unlike with WWTBAM when the 'phone a friend' person invariably gives the wrong answer, the helpers in this game are fantastic.
Didn't encounter any spoiler questions during £4's-worth of playing, and it's definitely getting more money from me in the future.
Now, if only I could remember its name....

It has the promising new Alien Attack game and the flattering-to-deceive Quiz City has been quickly relegated to the second screen so a cautious thumbs up. Crazy Golf 2 still lurks like a bad smell though.wires74 wrote:what does everyone think about itbox issue 50 ?
The original Crazy Golf was a really nice little game as you could pretty much rely on £8-£10 once you got the hang of the end game. It was then tightened up a bit (one Try Again not two, harder 'courses') but was still worth playing.
Crazy Golf 2 on the other hand basically involves answering two to three times more questions to get to the end game than on the original, but worse than that once you get there the previous skill element has been removed in favour of a Deal or No Deal style gamble where you eliminate a certain number of holes (each with a prize attached) before choosing to go for one of the remaining holes. The game then 'randomly' assigns a prize to your chosen hole and in the ten or so games I played while seeing if it really was as bad a game as it seemed, the prize was never more than £2.
It is definitely one of the worst games I have ever played.

Agree with all of NS' comments on Crazy Golf. Having spent an afternoon with a mate mastering all the shots on the original one so that for any given course you knew the optimum place/power for the tee shot this was a nice little earner.
Typically on a virgin/unspoilt machine the end game would be at say 600-750 with probably no more than 4 or 5 courses to navigate (the points allocated to each hole being generously high)- armed with the shot knowledge this would perhaps involve answering about 8 questions for end game where anything between £8 and £13 was pretty much a gimme.
Would be pretty much be ruined for a long time after that although did in my experience attract the even more casual punter such that filled up again faster than some of the games these days.

Hangman3 - I know this has been talked about elsewhere, and I'm not sure if it's exclusive to v50, but the only differences to H2 I can see are:
- The graphics are worse
- It's more difficult to win as the prizes start further and the awards are smaller (maybe I was just unlucky though)
So, overall an improvement then...
