wouldnt say snubbed, we offered him a deal and told him to sort it out and make a decision, he wanted more money so decided on a relegation battle instead of the chance to possibly play barcelona

and people say footballers are only in it for the money......

I want to know why so many people want the guy!

He ain't even that good. Plus he's a dirty fouling cheat. Liverpool have been done a favour...

didnt want him myself to be fair, he's too aggressive, we already have players that are upping our yellow card tally and another one would be too much.

tenner says he gets a red card on his debut :D

Not being funny, but imagine if Liverpool's team had eleven players ALL of Lucas Neill's standard...

They'd be mid-table certainties. What they need is world class, not middle-of-the-road potential, surely?!

i think hes a great player who will improve our left defense immensenly, when your in a relegation fight you need spirit and fight - just look at how an avaerage player like Quashie has improved reo coker as a player and out fight

I think you liverpool fans are just bitter he picked a team like west ham because he is guarenteed first team football (hes own words) and he wants to be wanted instead of a liverpool team who couldnt guarentee him first team football

he even supported pool as a kid, i dont think he would choose west ham over pool just for a measily 15k extra -

Green

daily - davenport - gabbidon/Ferdinand - Neill

will keep us up this season, just need a new RB now, but neill can play there aswell so 1.5m for a player that can play each wing backs and a central defender too with spirit, fight and a hunger to keep us up is a great buy no matter what you say

I doubt their bitter really, they've been done a favour!

He'll fit into a botoom half team like West Ham, but for a team challenging for top 4 he should never be going there. Would Man Utd/Arsenal/Chelsea want him? I doubt it....
