Is this the one that teases you with looking like it might have the playability of a VIU etc (no, I know there's no blue / red boards) but then plays like a right git, and losing the super board means you lose the extra life?

Yep, its the piss poor barcrest one. One of their worst ever machines if you ask me.
I have streaked one before for about £70, but i'd put a good £50+ in after watching someone lose a fair bit, and boards were offering £7 odd. Its godawful, bad play, rare superboards, no really good features. The hi lo one can be ok - but as its right at the top of the board, you'd expect it to be.
Flat as a pancake.
