can anyone shed any light on this?
i was doing a talk in totteridge recently and went for a pint in the bull & butcher which has a kind of faux amusement arcade/pool hall at the back.
amongst pinball, shoot-'em-ups and tuppenny waterfalls there is a paragon and a gamesnet but also a strange payout terminal which looks like a similar cabinet to the old photoplay jokers.
it is definitely a paying SWP not a tournament thingie. i only played two games: one on a hex clone with puzzles/qs/skill challenges and the other a game punning on squid which is basically caveman crapers. they look eminently learnable, i had two questions repeated in less than 10 minutes. but not really worth it if there is only one of these terminals in the wild.
