Hi All

Anyone know how to fix a coin acceptor thats suddenly stopped taking cash ?

Ive made sure there are no jammed coins and cant see any other obvious problems

Its a £250 Crystal big night out machine if that helps please help !!

or does anyone know how to find a fruit machine engineer ?

you can't just fix a mech when it breaks down,it has to be repaired,if your machine has a dual coin entry chute above the mech and is connected up and not just used as a rundown,it could just need the optos cleaning and you could also have a look to see if the mech itself is dirty

Thanks but i tried cleaning it to no avail

The whole machine has gone on the blink now and wont even initialise properly

I really need someone to come out to look at / fix it for me

Im willing to pay - unless its stupidly expensive then i'll bin the machine - bit of a waste tho

Try yellow pages listed under amusement machines or yell.com to find nearest

Have a look on ebay for coin mech, If you have no luck still just sell it on ebay and put coin mech disconnected due to ebay rules :)

like the way youre thinking but thats a bit naughty isnt it !

The whole machine has gone Pete Tong now and wont initialise properly

this sums up my luck on slotters - cant even win when i buy my own machine
