I ws gutted with the s'end result, but I do understand why it happened...
We may have played a good side, but the 'new boy/s' in the middle just didn't know what to do with the ball when they got it. If it went forward, it was a high ball which the (taller) s'end players would just head back. Or, it'd be a pass back to a defender and it'd have to start again.
Heh, the weekend though was indeed brilliant for our club. Loving seeing Chelsea come-a-cropper!

Well my eye was on the Notts County game, they had already beaten Palace and Middlesboro so i was hoping they would get through to play a big team in the quarters.
The other Magpies went through though and i could see them finally winning a trophy despite there poor league form.
you have to really class every trophy as Major, because there are so few to win.
The CC doean't have the stature of the others, but every premiership team has 3/4 trophies to go at, and thats one of em.
Note when Chelsea were on about the 'Quadruple' . only if the CC comes aswell.
