Haiduc is clearly Lithuanian for "empty bog roll with only one useless wispy bit of paper clinging forlornly to the cardboard", or Romanian for "a surplus bulldozer parked at an angle which inconveniences the street jesters as they unicycle down the promenade in the traditional manner on the anniversary of the crucifying of a three legged peasant in Craiova".

Possibly related to the Croatian football team Hajduk Split?

I'm a bit confused.

How come UP's most recent pseudonym is the one that they have chosen to put in the scoreboard?

Or is it there because he has already set the heather alight on that particular machine with his lexical chicanery?

I assumed that he had typed it in already for the last game, and then on the next game it was added to the list of heroes. But I haven't played, so who knows?

would that it did. in honour of the nation which brought us 80% of the country's atm fraudsters and a couple of adequate word gamers, HAIDUC is a romanian word meaning (roughly) benevolent outlaw. and it has the same derivation as the football team. anyway i lifted it from the song dragostea din teï. Image also Ernest's sleuthing is accurate, the game adds previous players' monikers to the default list of heroes.

Thereby minimising wasted typing time. This should gain us one extra game for every 29 played.

Trivia alert: I believe that O-Zone hail from Moldova, which is why the Romanian flag in the video has some kind of crest in the middle, rather than being a simple tricolore.
