Jackpots that Rock n Roll *Global*

Post by scottige »

Hi Guys and Gals,

Long time player first time owner.

I have the above £35 version machine and for the most part it is working fine.
It does have the annoying habbit of giving me a 4.2 mem reset alarm whenever I turn it on and it looses all the settings and thinks it's empty.

A search online says it's a flat battery.
I've seen 2 solutions.

1 says leave it on for a while and it will take a charge.
2 says the battery needs replaced.

I've left it on for now but should I need to go to option B, I don't know where the battery is located.

There is also a memory card slot on the machine whick I was provided a 512 memory card for.
Is that anything to do with it?

If someone could advise if they have encountered similar issues on global machines and advise please, I'd be eternally grateful.

leave the machine on overnight and see what happens.. :)

the battery is on the main board.

this is what your looking for.

i think yours is an epoch machine (not 100% sure though)

so the board will be looking right at you when you open the top door....

Thanks for the reply.
I've had a look and can't see it.

I do have a flash card slot, would that save the settings?
I've just put a 512 card that a mate gave me.

Here's a photo of the inside of the machine if this helps?

you will have to take the board out and remove the black cover, you will see the battery then.. :)

i dont know what the 512 card is for, not alot of experience with eclipse stuff, but it wont help with issue.. :)

You have the eclipse board, and the battery is a flat 3volt cell battery and you have to take the cover off to see it, and it is in the top right hand side , it is about the size of a 10p,and it's not like the varta in the picture.
The socket for the flash card is only when you want to install new software, if you put a new board in with a different game on you have to flash your game onto it
