if we didnt make generalisations we could never formulate an opinion and have to preface every comment with there are exceptions! But I always enjoy stories about old pros (quiz playing not leg parting) so by all means..... :-)

the only alleged incidence of violence between quizzers is when a fellow machine player got bitten by a hyena in hertford.

Quiz guys have made some decent money over the years, i've met a couple... There used to be quiz machines in places where you didn't need to buy anything to play them... Close to zero heat and usually the privacy to do whatever they want...

A couple of the guys on here have been on tv shows and won a decent amount through that too i believe?

Also, afaik, no one has ever run £400 through a quiz unit to get red boxes on an empty and ended up walking £50 down with an iou and a barring.....

One guy i know claims a profit of 10-30 per decent pub, and at the most a £5 loss(including drinks) in a bad one...

Fruit machines (at the minute) offer a higher potential profit per machine, but also a much higher risk.

I just wish i was clever enough to be able to do the games on the swp

Whenever I've come across a fellow quizzer the conversation has been utterly surreal. I've always started it and tried to engage but it's just been complete cageyness. Once I've realised they're not going to admit what they're doing I've gone all cryptic myself too.

The average AWP professional earns £23,624 (2012) gross per annum and spends 52 hours per week working. The most popular name amongst the AWP playing world is Shaun. The average worth of an AWPist is £38,426.

The average SWP professional earns £12,935 (2012) gross per annum and spends 39 hours per week working. The most popular name amongst the SWP playing world is Richard. The average worth of an SWPist is £202,534.

So us fruitie heads earn twice as much on average as quiz players and yet we're worth less. Make of that what you will.

I like it but am dismayed that the majority of the quiz playing fraternity are dicks.

And JG, I'll bite. lmfao.

(incidentally, never met a Richard. Not even the infamous one.)
