1, it has gone a little off topic , but all threads do and thats fair enough
2, someone asked why lugs hasn't locked it , maybe through respect for me , thankyou lugs . ,,,,,,,,,, but maybe because ive tried to deal with the past 20 argumentative war threads in a civilised adult manner in the hope it wouldn't decend into too many petty personal insults , lets try to keep it constructive lads , if it decends into too much childish silliness and lugsy locks it , i will offer him the same respect and i will not re-open it.
ok the whole point of the thread from post 1 wasn't to question will's playing ability , he may or may not be on new stuff three steps ahead etc , people have asked why he gives a shit that others are burning the pleb masses machines in his area then etc , its a valid question , one that he has refused to answer or skillfully dodged ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but ya know what , i dont personally care , ,,,,,, fair play to whoever is on new stuff , theres always gonna be people on new stuff , its the nature of the game. ,,,,,,,,, thats not why i started the thread

LOL this is getting funnier by the answer. I don't really know what else I can add to this, I feel there is a bit of gang warfare on Will here but the thing is it is true that he comes across as thinking he is superior (in terms of info he has he probably is)... I just don't see the reason for him to get so upset when he's supposedly so far ahead! I don't see why he should be bothered, if anyone should, its me! I should be having a go at Darren for all this alleged player creation if they were on my doorstep. Did Darren 'create' the Blackpool Scum Crew? Do I have a go at Dark Horse for 'creating' David? Do I blame Black Horse's 'creator' for 'creating' him? Do I then blame God for creating the creator?????? Where does it end? I don't see it ending anywhere... this is a pointless thread now, it could rumble on for another 100 pages and still be where it is at now. Lugsy, you have my permission to do the honours, Tray really should back me up here! I just can't see how this can possibly progress!

I think the curtain should fall on this thread with either Will finally addressing Tray's issues properly or a wisecrack from Lugsy. Tray locking it himself would result in complaints and justification for the unanswered points remaining as they are.
I hope you all see that I have tried very hard to remain impartial here and considering I have met no one out of all the people here, I think that is how it should be.
I just feel I have more right to complain as someone stuck with the older machines than someone who claims to be on new ones! Does this upset anyone???

I do believe most of you are toerags, but that is just a relative point of view; and not related to my grievance. I've never said my contacts had any more "right" to play machines than anyone else. Quote me if I'm wrong.
I'm angry at the stupidity of training up new players, and bringing them on to the scene. That has always been the crux of my argument. Now once they are here they may very well become very good players who I might want to work with and know, or they may just clog up the second rate pubs: that is a separate issue. As is my superiority complex. You think I'm angry with Glendale and co because I believe I'm better than them; and that is not true. I'm angry because as a community, professional fruit machine playing cannot support a limitless amount of players.
As I've said before, I'm happy to work stuff out and play in the nicer pubs. But I have to invest time and effort in doing this. Constantly investing time and effort. Now if stuff wasn't spread so voraciously, I wouldn't have to concentrate on doing this so much. Older machines would hold just as much value as the new ones. A Mega Deal in the right pub might be better than a new machine in a spoons.
And so, throughout my career, I've distances myself from people who I've known to be loose with information, and moved closer to those that are more restrained. This is the only difference I see between my contacts and yours. How does this make my contacts better? Well, we have all of our own info, plus yours as well. I said on this forum last year that if someone had something for ages and worked it, that I would respect them and not hassle or want for it. I was laughed at. Well, the irony of it is that it was a real situation and I just allowed the person concerned to get on with it. That's the sort of person you know you can trust, someone that works something for 18 months whilst the pleb masses chase dead Perfects.
So just to clarify Lee.

3: we don't spread info around in a communal fashion. Because we understand the industry and have a little more sense.
4: more rats in bars chasing dead machines round & round draws more attention to the scene. It's not good for any of us.
5: my particular grievance with Glendale is to do with the ridiculous amount of players he has created; and the fact that some of those are using violence to patrol areas.

He did actually answer that, it is having to go to the 'trouble and inconvenience' of having to work new things out which is forced upon him when the toerags get the info.
I do agree with most of what he says and it is admirable that he has ditched his info speading creators but that doesn't mean they have stopped spreading the disease and he must realise that there is no organisation in this game, you can form your own little secret society like what he has but do you honestly think you're so much smarter that no one else in the entire country will work out the same thing? Imagine there were 3 of you and you worked something out, no one said a word, then suddenly a gang of 'plebs' came along and were on the same trick, does it necessariy mean that 1 of you leaked it?
I would be very interested to know how Alien got out, I knew from the very beginning about the 7th heaven, I didn't bother because I knew someone else was doing them and I had skill quests popping up everywhere at the time. It was all highly organised, they had the list, they did nothing but Aliens and the superholds and were highly organised... but then what happened at p2? They made even more money... but now more people knew, p3, even more.... who was responsible? Did they give it out or did the 'lesser' players work it out? Until this day I hold my hands up and say you could give me a p2 Alien and I wouldn't be able to win on it! I'm sure I could do a p1 with a little practice though.
So anyway, Darren, your wisecracks are funny I will admit, but do you really admit to creating players? Have you also made a point of the fact they seem thug-ish in their nature just for good measure? Let's allow him to actually answer on this accusation...
Of course it is annoying for all of us when we see ANOTHER player doing something we have just gone to to do ourselves, I get so annoyed, I just think "Fuck's sake! How many of these fucking rats are there now?????????????? WHO IS THIS?????????" I've heard there is a couple who go around my area who are into bullying and threats, haven't bumped into them yet but I am prepared...
It would be so nice if this game was as Will and I would like it to be, tricks wouldn't get spread around like the plague, people would be cut off and banished from our midst if they were guilty as charged like Darren... but this is the real world... it is a 'job' with no official recognition, no employer as such, no workers rights, tribunals, disciplinary hearings, annual leave, pension plan, etc. This is why most of us chose it! Is it a class issue? Its just all a bit rich to me if someone moans when the extent of their moaning is that they have to go and find something new... well at least you have that option! Enjoy having it, make the most of it - I would.
Meanwhile I am here reviewing my own situation, stuck pretty much in the old world, feeling that the new machines all look like crap but I do know a few things here and there which can help me out and hopefully I will get by and not post another "Goodbye" thread...

Correct me if I'm wrong Lee, but I don't think I've ever expressed an opinion on people coming to my area to play machines. They do sometimes and sometimes I've done them and sometimes I haven't. The area in reference was the North East, where I do not live but have sometimes visited. It comes down to matters of principle and as I've said before many of the second level pubs in an area can handle a fortnightly visit, but come player saturation point, everyone will be barred and/or the locals will just stop playing the machines. I'm not sure why you've dismissed my comments about violence and threats, as these seem to me to be incredibly relevant. The more people you involve in the scene, the more this will happen.
