Still running my HOTWIRE - OPEN !

Post by whiteswan »

Hi

I am still running my OPEN in the pub - glad to say takings have increased recently - going to be very honest and say that I have re-sited the machine to an area of the pub with heavy footfall - and this seems to have helped.

Once again FAT SPANNER have been brilliant with any service issues that have occured - they exchanged a PC for me a few months ago and was up and running in a few days.

I do wish the game content was updated much more - 2 updates a year (it used to be 4) just doesn't cut the mustard for me.

We have a new game called BULLSEYE SUPERSTARS that seems to have been the top game for a few weeks now........the rest of the top ones are the usual suspects - PUB QUIZ, JIMMY WHITE SNOOKER QUIZ etc etc.................with OPEN THE BOX still holding on in there along with OLD FIRM DERBY.

Just thought I'd give a quick update as I popped on to the forum to advertise a Fruity I have for sale (its an Alien £70 - in the for sale part of the fruity section).

Hope everyone is well and that the scene is still alive.........................even though it may be slowly dieing.

Can't believe you haven't changed to the Paragon menu yet! Don't see the point in those games.

Yes. It's not really Pub Quiz is it? Or 1 vs 100? Or MOTD? Just cheap copies. Apart from the Worm Game. That is original shit

Presumably you have word soup on it?

I remember back in my Colchester days in the castle - forget what type of machine it was, however WordSoup disappeared after a few weeks (after Bob came round for a session - which destroyed the scoreboard, and didn't make any money as it was obviously all reinvested).

Landlord/lady were brilliant. They got on the phone to the operator complained and the next day it was back, on reset mode.

Happy days
