Fraggle Rock - amazing facts

Post by Cardinal Sin »

Did you know that each country which showed Fraggle Rock had a different setting?

You'll probably have seen the British version where Fraggle Rock was on a lighthouse, and Sprocket was owned by a lighthouse-keeper (and played by Fulton MacKay from Porridge)

However, if you ever watch the American version, you'll find a different Sprockett, and it's all set in a shop instead of a lighthouse. The French version was set in a bakery and so on....

There's also a movie due out in 2007!

And here's a reminder of the opening credits for what I reckon was the #1 kids TV programme....

Ah well. Luckily you live in an age where you all the stuff from the good ol' days is accessible by a couple of mouse clicks.

Here's one for any Sprocket fans.
