Well maybe, jon, you shouldn't let dave drag the jon name through the mud by leaving only a handful of feeble 1100s and 1200s topped by a couple of limp clears, jon. (jon)

1100 to 1200 were where the 2 pound marks were so like the most strategic military general I didn't see the point in forcing board clearances to hit the 1750 to get it to 3 pounds which would as has often been seen lead to the £1 being at 1700. On a new board you have to be gentle with it at first to get what you want and 5 £2 wins are a lot better than 1 £3 win and a couple of £1's. But fair point it was a poor performance, I obviously wasn't concentrating need a pint of Strongbow and my wily little friend for that

I got INCONSEQUENTIAL today. Couldn't quite clear though (would have been over 2000 if I had).

I smashed my personal record today at Chandlers opposite Ealing Broadway station 1956 GEOFF TKA. Not quite sure how it got that high but it did! Also I had PIXELS but MEGAPIXELS is no good :(

Nice work. Since the new Itbox version the grids seem heavier, so easier to get high scores I think. Also the harder the money gets the more Zs and Qs it gives you which helps if you can use them.

It wasn't even on an itbox, it was one of those oval Gamesnet things. But there were loads of Js and Zs on that game and not to many Qs or Vs. Before I went in the top score was 1100ish so the locals can't be very good. Everywhere else in Ealing is ind:e machines which don't have WU otherwise I would have got 2500 8)

Well I certainly noticed the difference the other day, playing in a college on the old version, almost all green and yellow tiles, then on Itbox, loads of blue and purple.

Well the Court has finally got it's second ITBOX in, but much to Jon's and my annoyance they have taken away our machine and replaced it with the previous version of Word Up the one that doesn't accept words like AIN or DUI. We almost smashed in DISESTABLISHMENT on it though but when we came to put it in the L wasn't touching the I and we couldn't get round it, think we ran out of time trying to figure it out as well gutted!!! :(

NEWSFLASH - WU WORLD RECORD BEATEN

2210 by 'CRAIG'

One of our team members - Craig F - crushed the former best with a QUIZZICALLY-powered demolition of the pub near his work.

Unfortunately, showing this much promise means we will have to have him put down to keep any competition with Dave Jon meaningful.

Did "vajinalbob" or "davejon" ever imagine there was a higher power at work in the WU universe?

I go to The Station a lot and recently started aiming for decent words (as you can see on the website).

Every time I get QUIZZICAL or better, they reset the machine. Its happened twice this week already. So in a fit of rage I smashed in 2210. It'll be gone by next week, I imagine. Luckily I have photographic evidence (on my mobile).

I can't see any of you n00bs beating the SOLO WORLD RECORD for a while. 8)

As for me, I'll keep playing til I get "uncharacteristically", then I'll retire a champion.

You tit, we know about you because we trained you up to be a decent player in the first place and had you join the VB empire. You're just feeling the effects of the greatness of VB moving through you. 8)
