I'm trying my best to be civil with you, I'm not going to let you bait me with your assumptions. I don't mind others winning at all, I particularly dislike you as you are responsible in a large way for ruining the scene as I have known it; and I made a point of joining this board to let others know this. Turned out when I got here, everyone knew that already.

Well I'm happy to leave it like that too. You've cost me money and numerous other long-term players; hopefully people will get wise and stop clueing you up!

It's not yourself that's the problem remember? It's your army of followers. You're still squabbling over Aliens and things the rest of us haven't played for years.

So if you havent played what me and "followers" have what is your problem? In my view your a washed up idiot, clinging on, trying to put me down, jealous and very stupid! You do post polite though!

It's a problem in so many ways; and relates back to the start of this thread. You tell them how to play Alien, but the more damaging thing is to introduce them to 'the scene' going in pubs knowing you can win; refusing to leave something ready, etc.... All of a sudden they're not filling up the machines anymore. Great for them as long as they do something productive with it: but bad for me. And I'm sorry you think I'm stupid. But I'm not jealous, if I were you I would be ashamed.

However, I'm trying my damnest to be polite! :-)

Who do you think Glendale has told how to play Alien? If anything I helped him out on P2 Alien!

Noels Beard wrote:I would, but we're moving off topic here. What we really need is for Steve to tell us who told him how to play ESB, and then we can address that person. I do not have a problem with anyone that had been told anything! Only those who passed it on!
So how did you discover how to play ESB or find out any other info?
Did you work it all out yourself, or was some of it/all of it passed on to you?

So you have a problem with the guy who told you stuff as he's "passed it on"?

I don't have a problem with him. I just think he's an idiot for doing so. I've become notoriously tight with information. If I'd worked that out, I wouldn't have told anyone. Not much fun, no bragging rights. But more sensible.

To put it simply

we all gain from shared info. if we looked at it in a six degrees of seperation kind of way we are all linked in some way or another. theres people on here who i have no direct contact with but most likely speak with people that do
He isn't right of course, he just thinks he is.

So he's made a mistake (maybe a few), and he's aware of the grievances he's caused. I'm sure he'll take on board what some people think.

Kindness can be just as damaging as wickedness is some aspects.

Say Glendale told someone how to play East Wing/West Wing for instance, perhaps he thinks he's doing them a favour as that person is struggling financially, and he felt good to be helping them out. I've done the same for a mate in Hastings years ago on HiLoWatha as there were seven in the town. After they were chipped or disappeared, he stopped playing and went back to work. So I've passed info on before, as I'm sure every other person on this forum has.

NoelsBeard: are you sure you're from the North-West and not the South East?

I agree in the most part, but we don't all gain from shared info. If I'm doing my ESB's and tell my friend in Brighton, and he tells his mate who lives next door to me; I'm not gaining.

i'd just put that down to bad luck. you could also look at the other side of the coin.
In return your neighbour lets on to your mate something previously uknown to him, who in turn relays the info to you
