New Car
New Car
Passed my test a few months back. Sick of my shitty Hyundai. Looking at a Ford Fiesta Zetech Blue. Playing buddy has a Ford Focus ST 3, which guzzles the fuel, however is very comfy and very fast.
I'm shit at cars, done 12000 miles in 4 months, so looking for something good on fuel, but doesn't take 3 hours to get from 0 to 60. Any suggestions?
Looking at spending 5-7k.
Anyone want to buy my Hyundai Getz 1.1 :p heap of shit but only got 37,000 miles on the clock.
Seems like there's a few knowledgable people on here.
Thanks,
Rob

If you are going for a players car (small so easy to park, cheap on fuel, handles lots of miles)a Golf GT TDI is definatly a good choice. The later 170BHP MK5 model is a better drive.
BMW 120d h/b is also good for fruits,or even an Audi A3 TDI isn't a bad choice. All these are reliable, cheap to run and easy to park. You can get a decent, newish one of any of these for the high end of your price range and they will all drive like a ferrari compared to your Getz.

Found a lovely A5 on the Autotrader website.
EN10 OBS 2.0 Coupe
£8,000
Too good to be true?
Of course it was!
I got an Email after enquiring only to be told it was in Spain & would be sent from Cadiz on payment completion.
Yeah right!
The company in Birmingham it was linked to went to a fax line, and after I got the right number via google, the guy confirmed it was a con. "The guy has stuck about 30 cars on my site!" he says.
