Cracking results for the British teams

Post by Cardinal Sin »

Well my two teams both won tonight. Scotland were getting humped for a good portion of the match, but then won it by 2 goals to 1

But that was nothing compared to Norn Irn, 3-2 winners against the might of Spain. Only time I watched Norn Irn play, they got humped 4-0 by the same opposition.... David Healy with a hat-trick.. and he's a member of this board.. who'd have thought it?

EDIT: http://fruitchat.co.uk/profile.php?mode ... ile&u=2478

But best of all, England giant-killing FYR Macedonia by a goal to nil...

Sarcasm aside, it's good to see all the home nations winning. Well , those that took part anyway!

Nixxy has very generously offered to eat all the items mentioned below should West Ham win the UEFA cup. It's amazing how a small wager can make a football match seem much more interesting!

Anyone know where I could watch the NI goals from last night? Tried Youtube and the BBC website, but to no avail. I've heard Healy's 3rd was a stonker.

It was definitely a good goal, though not a candidate for Goal of the Season or anything. He basically lobbed Casillas from outside the box to win the match.

England fans (there might be one or two on this board) might remember the name David Healy, as he was the guy that scored against England last year...
