Open Championship Golf

Post by explayer »

Some great special offers and betting opportunities as usual at The Open this week. Some firms going 7 or 8 places instead of the usual 5 , however those firms are top price about virtually nobody :-( , instead i like Corals offer of 1/3 odds first 5 and paying out as a winner if your selection comes second to Rory McIlroy. I back a few players each week and do quite well at golf , especially the Majors - i backed Stewart Cink at 150/1 a couple of years ago which remains my biggest ever price winner in any sport.

This year i am backing Choi , Yang , Karlsson , Love , Schwartzel , Curtis , Overton and Anders Hansen. Also i like the look of Mark Calcavecchia for a good first round showing (250/1 for First Round leader) - he has started well in the last couple of year's Open and has an early tee time on Thursday.

Always worth looking for big prices anyway in The Open whatever you do!

I had McIlroy at 22s when he won last month, and Kaymer at 45s last year, I'm not too bad at golf bets usually!

I'll also be backing both koreans and the better Molinari, great value the three of them. My outside bets would be Quiros at 100s and Ishikawa at 250s. Shorter down I'll also be backing Nick Watney. Can't be bothered with mcilroy/westwood and donald at their stupid short odds.

£20 each on Westwood and donald.

Short odds or not I see value here.
