Biggest win on latest battleships?

Post by jnr2 »

Anyone got anywhere near the top prize?,i like this version(only 6 mines)but still have yet to even get past £5 before hitting a mine.
I remember someone posting about previous version and winning over £20,a great result!.

Biggest win on old version was £15.60

Had an £11.90 on the new one the other day before I hit a mine. Never been brave/smart enough to go all the way through the second wave.

Think I was paraphrasing back then. Somebody told me they'd done a £37.30 once.

I jackpotted the new version - once. Questions never went above easy level, and I got plenty of lives and suchlike. It took about half an hour, though, and I've not bothered to try again on time-and-motion grounds. But I think a JP is eminently achievable if you catch it in paying mode - bit surprised Grantham's finest hasn't JPed it, to be honest.

£20 for half an hour seems like a decent wage to me.

Indeed, but an unreliable wage - it struck me as the kind of thing one could spend 20 minutes on, foul it up, and have to begin again. (To be fair I have checked it out on one or two other cabinets but only once found it in the same mode, and then I was too pushed for time and had to collect.)
