bumping into players
Good grief ! Thanks for the comparison. I suppose the difference is I didn't post about staying in a shitty hotel and eating a fried breakfast. At least my post was on-topic...
"If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?"
If I was doing something very fresh and ran into someone else doing the same thing i'd probably want to know where they had been, and at the very least get a feel for their calibre as players and people, ascertaining whether they were likely to slip up and tell others or not, or whether the trick was in safe hands.blackmogu wrote:I've recently bumped into two players doing the same thing as me, which was an unpleasant surprise, but I suppose it was inevitable, since I've never seen anyone else on them for over a year.
We clocked each other, and a curt nod was exchanged, but no effort to make verbal communications was made. No point really.
Needless to say they weren't your average street-player type. I don't mind sharing the cookie barrel, since there certainly is plenty (currently) to go around on this trick, but as we have all experienced before, the more people that know, the less time the trick has to live.
Anyone else i'd probably ignore.
