Big Match World Cup

Post by Tibs »

I've just found this game on a couple of Gamesnets in the South-West and was wondering whether it has landed anywhere else. It's basically like Big Match, but slightly easier (there is an extra feature collecting Jules Rimet trophies that slows down the endgame and, eventually, increases the prizes so that £20 is much closer.

Has anyone else seen it? The Gamesnets I've found it on have been recently installed or updated with the latest batch of games (Caveman Capers, the Da Vinci Code etc).

P.S. I'll stick my oar into another debate now - I took 20 out of one of these and then went on to win about 10 or 11 on DOND. So if it did have a single jackpot then the village idiot must have been in playing it earlier on.

The reason presumably it is called Big Match World Cup is that it was roughly brought out to coincide with the World Cup.I think we have found an area further behind than Carlisle! Big Match has been around for a couple of years.

Hmm, further behind than Carlisle maybe, but ahead of London (well, my friends there haven't see BM WC).

Big Match World Cup hasn't reached Carlisle yet :(

And actually, I have yet to find a Gamesnet in Carlisle. Botchergate, the main street for pubbing 'n' clubbing, has around 14 drinkeries.
Roughly half of the establishments don't have an SWP.
Of the ones that do, there are only two Paragons, and the rest are ITBoxes.

So if anyone does an England-Scotland holiday, sleep in the Preston for the overnight stay...

it is actually a new version of the previous BM. why they branded it 3 years and 10 months early does seem bizarre though.
nobody ever wins on those things.
