Battleships - Admiral of the Fleet

Post by explayer »

Play this a bit and the other day there was a ship 4 squares long (not sure what its called) left to uncover but i had cleared most of the board and there was only one place left that it could fit , i pressed the button which was certain to be a hit and lo and behold ... miss! - looked again , and again , there was no place on the board the ship could have been in - anyone else seen this?

ps - it also asked me which event happened in 1905 and gave the 'correct' answer as the Battle of the Somme :?

Not seen that happen at all...It's always been fair with me, I just trust if I lose it's cos I get knobbed with the questions. And I watch THe Chase enough! I should be quiz genius! haha
Normally easy to tell when it's being annoying, too many 1 and 2x ships

Yes , this is the version without an endgame , just the Hex Maniac style progress along the top of the screen. The other battleships game has an endgame which liked giving me amounts such as £1.70 or £1.90 which is annoying.

It's easy to lose count of just how many versions there are of Battleships out there
