I just hope this shuts anyone that says we didn't need to sign Cech up.

Cudicini's like a table football goalkeeper... he only moves sideways.

Now as much as i don't think we deserved to win... with the same token i don't think we'd have lost if Cech was in goal, and i doubt anyone can argue with that.

That's the carling cup and this game he's cost us now.

What a brilliant result allround last night - United tucking three in at The Valley (Solsjaer on the scoresheet!!!) and Chelsea going down to 'borough ***AGAIN***

These early blows are the sort of thing that costs titles. Happened to us last season and Chelsea pretty much romped it. I know there's only been two games thus far, but could be a good sign!

I think that Ruud going might actually have made the team work together better, as opposed to just dinking the ball up front and trying to find Ruud.

It just looks better!

Last night will be remembered for THAT tackle by that evil bastard Ben Thatcher on Pedro Mendes. Fully clocked him, clean out, need oxygen. Horrific tackle, and he's done it before. Get him banned! :x

You make out it's a one man team. I'd lay the blame on the defence for allowing the goal chances.... Maybe the midfield for giving the ball away..... or the fact they could have done with scoring 2 more themselves. Maybe the ref made some bad call? Who's to blame?

Cech is class mind :)

I see what you're saying... but the point is without cech, the defence is faced with never knowing whether the keeper's going to go for a cross or not... which is most of the reason it looked so paniced.

No one can argue that for the second goal Most keepers would've dealt with that cross.
