All a matching IP address does is show that you have used the same provider at some point.

It's only meaningful if it's assigned on a static (unlikely) basis. A whois on the IP address will give you information from the provider that will usually say whether or not it is assigned from a dynamic pool, and who the provider is.

Some IP addresses are only assigned to specific cities / towns etc. so they can be useful in seeing where a user is from.

No chance, people have mannerisms even online.

Pokerkingqueen has never been a big poster and what postshe has madehave usually been 1 liners, John32 go's out ofhis way to post things sometimes quite descriptive.

So basically 1 can't be arsed to post unless he wants something, the other posts for their personal enjoyment.

That's my opinion from running/using forums anyway
