Should he have been sacked

Any other job that would not of happend.
But I still can't stand the c**t.
What do you lot think about it, should he of been given the boot???

I think this is absolutely shocking. Crikey, the amount of times I would've been sacked over the last 15 years!!!
I think someone said something that had quite a bit of validity the other day: in this country, you can only be sexist to women...

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
If you are one of those people who absolutely cannot deviate from 'going by the book', then yes it was right to sack him.
If you're a reasonable human being who puts things into context, then you'll have a discussion about it, concede that comments like that aren't particularly helpful but aren't exactly earth-shattering, and move on sans P45.
The problem is that he was at work when he said it. The irony is that he was in his office - a football ground - surrounded by thousands of people saying far worse things than himself, when it happened.
It's a shame but it's happened now, time to move on.

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
I think it was only right that he got sacked. The uproar had he not been sacked would have been huge. Being in the public eye in a high profile position such as his, and making those comments whether on air or not, is incredibly stupid. Sky have a duty to remove anyone whose actions are liable to cause offence, and they are sensible in doing so. Sexism is no less a crime than racism, which cost Ron Atkinson his job.
I feel sorry for the girl involved, she is clearly a highly competent linesperson and has been dragged into the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Apart from anything else Andy Gray is a cunt.

She had to pull out of the Crewe game tonight that she was scheduled to officiate. Imagine all the abuse she would have had to endure, when it wasn't really her fault.
Having said that, it was a bit extreme to sack Andy Gray. Apparently somebody recorded other suggestive remarks he made recently which also contributed to his sacking. Seems like somebody had it in for him!

He should have kept his trap shut, shouldn't he? The Big Ron was punished in the same fashion - I wouldn't feel sorry for Andy Gray as he has other business interests, he'll walk into another job and he'll sleep well in his ivory tower tonight.
Somehow I don't think the majority of people frown upon sexism like they do racism. Obviously SKY do and every credit to them.
Can't stand the cunt anyway. Probably the most bias commentator in the history of football and bias towards teams he has no association with whatsoever!!!! I'm actually surprised he was able to commentate he had Fergies knob rammed so far down his throat. Good riddance.

Well,I think they used this as an excuse to sack him, whatever your opinion of gray( I'm indifferent) this smacks of double standards.
Sexism meh!
Women are allowed to belittle men every weekday lunchtime on that stupid loose women programme without fear of chastisement ,let alone their p45's.
The offside rule gag has been running with guys for decades, and so has the "men cannot multitask" jibe .harmless banter.
Women want to have their cake and eat it ,and also their chocolate .
Sexism seems very one sided if you ask me ,women have been getting away with too much for too long.
Cunts, they can't even piss standing up.......and they think they are our equals

Agreed Lugsy,
Just read Jane Moores or Vanessa Feltz's newspaper columns, they make a living out of putting down men. But thats OK?
As for that Loose Women Programme? Well can you imagine them getting sacked for making remarks regarding mens inabilities to cook, clean or sexually satisfy them? Its actually quite an amusing programme some times, because quite simply its just a bit of banter. THATS ALL!! No Different. I hear the lineswoman in question is totally not bothered about the remarks, I'm sure shes had it a million times before and a ten million times worse!!!
As for suspending the touchline reporter who simply said 'Female linesman today, apparently she's a bit of a looker according to the Cameraman'. Thats a fucking joke. Why isn't the camera man in the shit then?
Fuckin Daily Mail fueled bull fucking shit!!!!
Make no mistake, Andy Gray will either walk into another job, or he'll be back at Sky, probably with an improved deal.
Like him or hate him, hes to valuable to sky, and ESPN would double his pay just to rub SKY's noses in it.

I wonder whether the local womens' netball team would stand for it if their referee turned out to be a man?
Plus, if a woman makes a sexual remark towards a bloke, then that's ok (and it is ok by me!). But if the man makes the same remark to the woman then it's harassment.
I'm all for equal rights . . . but equal rights ONLY.
The interviewer seemed to be stitching Gray up and achieved that.
Plus, what is Karen Brady's problem? Moan moan moan.
I bet she's just upset no-one is making a pass at her.
