It is an outright pisstake to be fair, and the only reason why they tax the fuck out of the humble motorist is simply because they know they can and get away with it, not so much in the towns and cities as there is public transport, but in more rural areas like this there is no public transport, and the government know this, people have no choice at all but to pay it no matter what, they have us over a barrel (pardon the pun) they really do, i remember the tanker drivers blockading the ports a few years ago when it was what, 85, 90p a litre??
