well for the last 3-4 days we have been re-arranging the flat completely ,,,,,,

laying laminate flooring , painting decorating , a million trips back n forth to b & q , im completely knackered shifting furniture everywhere etc ( not cut out for manual labour lol , totally unfit kfc fat cunt lol)

anyhooows decided i wanted a new bedroom tv , and didn't even think about 3d , just wanted quality over everything else , ,,,,,,, been reading a lot of independent reviews etc

and shortlist'd a few , as you do

checked richersounds which i normally love , as they do great deals with guarantees etc , but usually on tv's which are end of series last years models etc ,,,,,,,, still great

there's also been a lot of great advertised deals in the media over the festive period , ,,,,, in fact im sure argos were doing for a short time a 42 plasma for £299 , ok it wasn't full hd , but you cant complain at that price .

but opting for quality first , ive bought a sony nx7 40'' led lcd 3d set for £899 from comet ,,,,,,,,, and for 2d blu rays its stunning ( highly recommended if your in the market for a new tv , with top reviews across the net)

anyhow for an extra 200 quid , as part of a package got 3 pairs of sony 3d glasses (£99 individually ) and a 3d transmiter bar thingy (£50 individually ) that syncs with the glasses somehow apparently

now not really that bothered about 3d ( what with reports that glasses-less sets might arrive in 6 months or so, but will apparently be excruciatingly expensive at first)

but for the sake of the extra £200 thought might as well .

not tried it yet , and only tonight just bought my first 3d blu ray ,,,,,,,, kids animated film called monster house from blockbuster for only £12 ,,,,,,,,,, so will let you know how it is later .

been looking online and apparently the shrek 1-4 3d boxset is £180 ,,,,, wtf ???? surely some mistake lol.

As posted before, i got the panasonic 50" 3d set in Nov and it is truly amazing. i know technology always progressing and prices will come down etc etc but i have no regrets.

Piranha 3d is awesome not just for obvious reasons, has you on edge of seat at times. christmas carol was a great family view over xmas.

Also the footie is enjoyable in 3d.

I got told 3d makes little diffence to football unless the ball happens to get kicked at the camera.

Didn't do too much for me really...watched chelsea everton the other day and it didn't seem a great deal different. Few things were better, but not enough to make me want to shell out a fortune for a new box.
