My advice

Post by king_conspiracy »

Personally, my advice is dont play them....You are better off sticking to fruits, you wont lose anywhere near as much as if you chase on these....
I've put 60quid in for nothing twice.
They are an absolute bastard for taking an absolute bucket and then offering reno casino, which goes for £5-£10.

Also the location of these machines sees people piling money into them all day then collecting and the same again and so on....Plus theres the sharks...blah blah blah

If you are looking for the high possibility of profit, unless youve watched one an entire day and seen no big wins. id leave these well alone, that goes for gold rush and party time too.

Yup, the streak can be very big on these. But expensive.

If you're in the London area, try playing the 5p/£5 JP version at the Trocadero for a bit of inexpensive practice.

When Reno Casino first went in (the huge version) downstairs at the Crystal Rooms in Leicester Square, I managed to hit the streak - it cost almost £90 but it went on and on. A fairly sizeable crowd of people gathered round as it got going.

The BIG streak occurs when you get all 5 'chips' lit in the feature - each game of slots/roulette/blackjack pays either £15, £20 or £25 so by the time the fifth game has been played, a bank of about £110 or so has built up. After playing the fifth chip, they all flash and the voice welcomes you into Super Reno Casino, and whichever game you play it rolls in the £25. When I got on this streak it gave me two goes at Super Reno, so it paid £50 on top of the previous £110. Which IOU'd it, but seeing as three of the people stood behind me were staff, they knew it was legit and filled it back up.

The problem as someone else has already said, is bloody foreigners sharking these sort of machines all day as they've cottoned on to the potentially large payouts with very little work.

I have played the 10p £5 in the Trocadero, quite good, even though one was broken and the other would not except pound coins (on the 11th Feb). I went onto the feature every £2-£3. I had 3 chips lit at max. Most of the time i took SLOTS, this either went for bells (£3) or blue 7s (£4).

I ended up with a bank of £40 with only £20 in.

This game is actually made by Gamesoft so should be in the misc manufacturers section of this website.

Sorry Pitbull, But 500 out of a reno is bollocks...
Still you are a new member so you are probably doing the "guess how much money ive won" thing..

The most ive seen come out of a Reno was 125 and that is EXTREMELY RARE. And seeing as though the max you can get, even on a 5 disc (almost never) occasion is 125, its obvious what you say is bollocks.

I see these going off on the feature all the time at my local showboat amusements and they are pounded all day by grannies and most of the time they go for 25-75.....Even when absolutely full.

Even Super Reno rarely goes above 100.
I can just about believe the streak mentioned above.

As for Pitbull, heh...Must think we are stupid.

To take home £500 in pure profit (presuming he meant profit, of course) would need it to be a 5-player Reno, with each of the 5 m/c's loaded and totally buzzing. And for each of them to streak their tits off with a very small outlay.

So I find that claim a bit fishy too.

i 2nd that...for a start the most you can get out of one would be a set of 6 £25 on a 6 chip roll and that is near impossible...

and this mc only comes in threes.

It launched as a 5-player with posh seats, Gold Rush-style. I think there's still one on the seafront at Hastings, but everywhere else seems to have settled for the slimmed-down 3-player upright m/c's.
