Bumped into the 80s midfield warrior johnny wark whilst doing a local machine and had a couple if beers with the hard drinking scot! Anyone else met a global superstar of this standard while doing machines?
I am Glendale, much better than you!
Former Manchester United and Newcastle United midfielder Keith Gillespie walked into the Hobby Horse in Leicester one afternoon years ago, i've bumped into Leicester legend Steve Walsh on many occasions, he loves a piss up, Willie Thorne is another you see from time to time.
Was John Wark around the Ipswich area? Or has he moved on?

Was in the services here a couple of months back, and Roy Keane must have been heading back down thre road to Ipswich.....drinking a nice coffee with some suited blokes.
Not sure if he counts but David Gest lives round these parts sometimes and walked into a pub in town for a bevvy here about 18 months ago while i was in for a Vortex. Rory McGrath also lives in Cambridge, seen him plenty of times. Stephen Hawking has also been spotted (not in a pub obviously :P ), but he's another local dweller while he's not jetting round the world talking about black holes and the universe.

two decades ago almost, me and a mate saw john wark in felixstowe pier once on a diamond derby,he got no5 in for 2 quid and my mate hustled him off it for the next credit favourite.
i sharked kieron dyer in the same arcade on a roller coaster also for a quick raise.

This year in my local there has been Michael Caine, Peter Andre, Ian Rush, Sophie Anderton and Richard Hammond.
Out of them all, Sophie was the most fun to observe - she was completely nuts (she got barred for throwing bottles outside at other guests !!).
Ian was very accomodating to my Liverpool FC obsessed friend, and him and his entourage (3 other ex-Liverpool players from that era) graciously signed autographs for him.

Sounds like keiron dyer is a bit of a serial
slotter then...I'm sure with his obscene wages and permanent injuries he has a lot of time and money on his hands!
Jo o'meara from sclub7 is apparently a s16 addict in her local
gala!
Bored of the grind.
