I went to see my mate in Bradford just a couple of weeks ago and went to a William Hill. One of the staff said they knew him but he'd died a few months back.

I knew he had been Ill but, although I stopped talking to him two years ago, I hope she was wrong.

She said she was "quite sure" that this was the case.
