In the ground barely anything came about it, majority of chants we directed towards Glazer (negative) Alex Ferguson (positive) and the usual stuff. It was a good atmosphere as usual in the Stretford End, but from what ive heard the atmosphere in most parts of the ground was more subdued..

On the bus - Divided opinion of Rooney, many feel its the start of a decline, others (like myself) thought he was just fed up of the media houndings you over here, and I still think he will go to Real Madrid..

All up in the air really!

He went and said that the lack of major signings was the reason, I can see where he is coming from on that front, however there is a lot of promise among the new breed at Old Trafford. I dont think he is irreplaceable, but there are few like him.

To be fair to Rooney he's got a point.

Look at Uniteds last 2 years signings, they're all pretty much young potentials rather than iconinc finished articles.

They've started to take the Arsenal approach and look what they've achieved in the last 4 years ?

Thing is, we've pretty much always had that approach and look how we've doe over the last twenty years! It's because there are these big-money clubs now that are skewing the perspective of the whole game.

None of us no how the outcome will affect Man United though. He could stay and be as crap as he has been for the last few months for a long time to come, or he could stay and have a belter of a season again. This could also happen at which ever club he chooses (get's told by his agent) to go to. So, I'm not overly fussed, based on recent form...

Just goes to show how much of a brainless knob Rooney is.....and how fickle 99% of Manure fans are.

The cynic inside me thinks it was probably a media stunt anyway, seeing as Liverpool have been dominating the news recently - albeit for the wrong reasons - Manure have gone with the notion of 'any publicity is good publicity' just to detract attention from the enemy.

Hmmm.

Not bothered about Man U and there bunch of glory hunting fans who could'nt find Old Trafford if they had a compass, just hope he starts playing well for England again, lets face it he's our best player.

Hes a greedy, selfish, horrible little toad! Fair play to him but if he wanted money spent on new players why not sign a contract for £1 a week? Also well done Man Utd on a major step to going skint!
I am Glendale, much better than you!
