barcrest bucks fizz machine says door open even when its not

Sorry I just posted this in Barcrest forum but think its more of a technical question


I bought an old fruit machine, Bucks Fizz and its been working fine for the past 6 months

ive not used it for 3 or 4 weeks and when i turn it on now it just says door open. The back door is on and it will reset and I can press the start 10p button and then release money
Every time I turn it off and on it goes back to DOOR OPEN

When I press the black button twice It does various tests on the lights and the sound but just cant get it to work even with back on or white switch held in.
Anyone know what the problem could be please.

door switch could be faulty or a bad wire going to it..
