I distinctly remember telling you I had seen it in a crossword once.

You are confusing me with EWQ.

I had definitely heard of the word but in a nonsense context, so thought it was maybe a nonsense word.

Just got INTERNATIONALIST. First 16 letter word apart from QUINTESSENTIALLY (so, first real 16 letter word according to unknownpseudonym).

Just got floccinaucinihilipilifications in the pub. Unfortunately I wasn't at the machine and the people playing didn't believe me. But it was there, believe me.

good work. no; very good work

for my part i have a few for you Ernest:
o'neill's ealing: 1887, UNACQUAINTED
wheatsheaf ealing: 1813, 1962, QUARTERFINALS
north star ealing: ACQUIESCING
walkabout finchley o2 centre: EXTRACTIONS, INFELICITIES

n.b it appears that the o'neills in ealing has grown an itbox as well as the wall-mounted ind:e. i noticed that VB sucessfully colonised the former but could make no inroads into my heroism on the latter.

in other news i learnt a new word yesterday: DOXY, it is a beggar's acolyte, not tried it on WU and due to burglarization i don't have a computer at the moment so can't check it for allowance.

also i went to waxy's little sister in chinatown yesterday. have any Bobs been there? DJ? do you still look in here?
if no (as i suspect) it appears that a relocated machine which has not been reconditioned has found its way there. QUINTESSENTIALs et al all over the score board but TT had only been played once by someone who had managed to get 1900. so that gave me a few quid for another pint.
nobody ever wins on those things.

DOXY does work, UP, it sounded familiar so I gave it a go during one game and it was accepted - since then, I've noticed it comes up quite often

Narrowly failed attempts at NYMPHOMANIACS and AMPHITHEATRES today. Gloomhampton. But at least got that boring 700pt word.

Good stuff, tka.

Fotherz and I had a quick bash in Stratford post house-hunting.

First three attempts: 1962, 2012, 1952. 8)

Also got a 1976, a 9510 on Text Tiles, QUIZZICALITY and QUALIFICATION.

Damn, we're good. :D

Do you guys always leave you names when you go on tour?

Just wondering which one of you premiership stars has been to Nottingham on a Staggo or business and laid down QUIZZICALLY for 616 at Via Fossa? Was in there for a birthday bash on Fri. Plus EXPONENTIAL on the other machine.

No name left. In fact - my mates are under the impression that WU the game throws high scores up on its own when it resets or something happens.

But I think its you lot....
